Luneburg lens, often incorrectly spelled as Luneberg lens, is a dielectric lens that collects and focuses electromagnetic energy. According to the theory proposed by Rudolf Karl Luneburg in 1944, the lens is spherical and its dielectric constant varies more in the part closer to its center.
